Capturing Your Pets at the Wedding

Your furry family members are part of the story, too. I love capturing the wagging tails, the curious sniffs, and the genuine joy your pets bring to your big day.

Fur-ever love. The bride gets a happy lick from her cocker spaniel during her Haldi ceremony, a moment of pure, unconditional love.

The sweetest Haldi kisses. A close-up of the bride's dog giving her affection, a heartwarming and adorable moment.

A quiet moment with a furry family member. The couple shares a sweet interaction with their pug, who seems to be giving the groom a kiss.

The bride shows off her kalire to her very unimpressed pug. A funny and candid moment between a girl and her dog on her wedding day.

A poignant black and white shot of the bride's departure, with her loyal pug watching from the top of the stairs. A real tear-jerker.

About this collection

Pets bring pure, unpredictable joy to a wedding, but they also require a little patience. I don’t rely on forced poses. Instead, I keep my camera ready for those unscripted moments, like happy licks during the Haldi or a quiet moment of calm before the ceremony starts. If you have a furry friend joining the fun, I always recommend having a designated handler so you can focus on the rituals while I capture the connection.

Including pets in your wedding celebration adds a layer of love and personality that is impossible to fake. Whether it’s your dog tagging along for the Haldi or a quiet moment of affection, these interactions define your day just as much as the rituals do.

Making It Work

  • Designated Handler: Your pet will need someone to look after them, especially during the hectic ceremony. A friend or family member who knows them well is perfect.
  • Timing Matters: Pets get tired and overstimulated, just like us. I suggest planning a short 'pet portrait' session early in the day or during a quiet window, rather than forcing them to be present for every single ritual.
  • Comfort First: If your pet is camera-shy or gets anxious in crowds, we will focus on intimate moments in a quieter space. The goal is to keep them happy so their natural personality shines through.

Why I Love This

There is something incredibly grounding about having your pets around. Their presence often helps couples relax, creating authentic, candid reactions. I’ve seen everything from energetic dogs photobombing bridal portraits to calm companions watching the Pheras from the side. Each pet adds a unique rhythm to the day, and I am here to document that bond, quirks and all.
