About Couple Portraits
For our portrait sessions, I prioritize movement and interaction over stiff, posed photography. Whether we are shooting at a busy Mumbai beach or a quiet destination getaway, I provide a mood board and styling advice beforehand so you feel comfortable, prepared, and like yourself before the first frame is even clicked.
My Approach to Portraits
My photography style is documentary-led, meaning I do not ask you to hold awkward poses for hours. Instead, we go for long walks, share stories, or just sit quietly until you relax. My pre-wedding sessions are typically 4 to 6 hours long, allowing us to hit two locations, whether it is an early morning shoot for that soft, golden light or a late-afternoon session for a more moody atmosphere.
Wedding Day Portraits
On your wedding day, I know you have guests to attend to. I usually steal you away for about 20 minutes when the lighting is at its best. This keeps things efficient so you can get back to the celebrations without feeling exhausted. I look for the in-between moments—the way he holds your hand, the way you look at each other when no one else is watching—rather than grand, staged setups.
Editing & Delivery
Every image delivered from these sessions undergoes my signature warm and matte color grading. This gives the photos a soft, nostalgic feel that matches the candid nature of the shots. You will receive 40 to 60 high-end, retouched portraits from a pre-wedding session, complete with skin smoothing and distraction removal, delivered via a private cloud gallery.
Planning Together
I am based in Mumbai, but I love traveling for shoots. If you have a specific location in mind, let’s plan around it. I work closely with you on outfit choices and location scouting to ensure the final images tell your unique story. You do not need to be a model; you just need to be yourself.
