These moments are the sacred core of your union. From the quiet anticipation before the pheras to the final sindoor ritual, I capture the emotions and traditions that make your day real.

A collage of fun and emotional moments from a wedding ceremony, including the bride's family celebrating and a playful ritual.

The playful "nose-grabbing" ritual, where the bride's side tries to grab the groom's nose. A moment of fun and friendly competition.

A collage showing key wedding rituals, including a peek from behind the antarpat and a sister's role in the ceremony.

The Varmala ceremony, where the couple is lifted on shoulders, and a triumphant moment of them holding hands after.

The bride's grand entrance under a 'phoolon ki chadar' and the groom's emotional wait at the mandap.

A collage of important rituals, including the application of sindoor and other family-involved ceremonies.

Family members participating in the wedding rituals, wrapping the sacred cloth around the couple, their faces full of smiles.

About this collection

I don’t make you act out your wedding rituals for the camera. My job is to move around quietly, catching the genuine emotion of the pheras or the sindoor ceremony without ever interrupting the sanctity of the moment.

These traditions are the heart of your day. Whether it is the frantic energy of the Varmala or the hushed stillness of the Vidaai, my goal is to blend in so you barely notice I am there. I know how important it is to respect the priests and the elders, so I stay in the shadows, using long lenses and silent shooting techniques to get the shot without being a distraction.

I often mix vibrant color photos of the rituals with high-contrast black and white images. Color captures the decor and the bright outfits, while the monochrome edits strip away distractions to focus purely on the raw, emotional expressions of the couple. If the mandap is dim or crowded, I use subtle, off-camera lighting to ensure the focus remains on the sacred exchange between you and your partner, not the venue's limitations. You will receive a gallery that tells the story of your ceremony from start to finish, highlighting the family involvement and the quiet glances that often go unnoticed by guests.

I view wedding rituals as a series of quiet, powerful human moments rather than just a checklist. When I am at the mandap, I am looking for that one genuine glance between you and your partner that says everything about your commitment to each other.
