About Couple Portraits
I set aside a dedicated window during your wedding day to capture these portraits. My goal is to get you away from the crowd for about 45 minutes so we can find the right light. This session is not about stiff posing. We focus on movement and interaction—how you look at each other when no one else is watching.
My Approach to Portraits
I believe the best portraits happen when you forget the camera is there. My style for couple shoots is rooted in candid interaction rather than traditional, static posing. Whether we are shooting in a quiet garden, on a beach in Goa, or at a hotel in Mumbai, I look for genuine expressions.
How We Work Together
- Movement over Posing: We will walk, talk, and move. I prefer capturing you laughing or looking at each other rather than staring down the lens.
- Lighting and Mood: I incorporate my signature black and white style into many of these portraits. It strips away distractions and keeps the focus entirely on your connection.
- The Details: I make sure to capture the wider scene—the venue, the architecture, the landscape—to provide context, but the heart of the image remains your bond.
Practical Details
- Duration: I typically request a 45-minute block. This is enough time to get comfortable without keeping you away from your guests for too long.
- Flexibility: I am based in Mumbai and Goa but travel across India for weddings. If you have a specific venue in mind, let me know.
- Deliverables: You receive these portraits as part of your full wedding gallery. I provide a mix of color and my signature moody black and white edits.
