Our Design Process: Creating Your Custom Outfit

Designing your outfit is a personal journey, not a transaction. At our Nagarbhavi studio, we turn your ideas into wearable art, focusing on fit, fabric, and hand-embroidered details.

A quick look at a large family order before it goes out for delivery. I'm showcasing the bride's muhurtham blouse, an embroidered head veil, and several other hand-worked sarees and blouses for her family. It's a joy to dress the entire family.

My dear friends and clients unboxing their wedding outfits at the studio. I love seeing their happy reactions. We worked together on every detail, from the bride's muhurtham blouse to the groom's outfit and family sarees.

Every great outfit starts with a conversation. Here in my studio, I'm sitting down with clients to understand their vision, sketch out ideas, and select the perfect fabrics and embroidery. I believe in teamwork to bring your dream outfit to life.

About this collection

You do not need to know exactly what you want when you walk through our doors. Most of my clients come in with a vague idea or a reference photo, and we build from there. Whether it is choosing a fabric that drapes well or deciding on a neckline that suits your personality, I work with you through every fitting. My goal is not just to make a garment, but to ensure it feels like a natural part of you by the time it is ready for your event.

I believe that slow fashion with soul is the only way to create something truly special. At Anthariya, we avoid mass production. Each project starts with a detailed consultation where we discuss your event, your style preferences, and the practicalities of the fabric.

Whether you are looking for a bridal muhurtham blouse, a groom’s reception sherwani, or coordinated outfits for the entire family, the process remains consistent. We start with sketches and material selection, carefully choosing silks, brocades, and velvets that match the occasion.

I personally oversee the embroidery process, ensuring our hand-worked zardozi, aari, or sequin designs enhance the fabric rather than overwhelming it. If a specific crepe silk requires delicate work, I will not force heavy zardozi onto it. We respect the fabric.

Fittings are a crucial part of our studio experience. I prefer to do multiple rounds of fittings to ensure every stitch is perfect. If you are busy or travelling from another part of Bangalore, we coordinate to make the process efficient without cutting corners. For local families, we love managing the coordination of entire sets, matching the groom’s sash to the bride’s lehenga or father-son ethnic wear.

This is not about just following trends. It is about creating a look that fits your body and your vision perfectly. If you are ready to start your design journey, reach out to us at our Nagarbhavi studio.
