About From Our Hands to Yours: The Couture Process
My process is rooted in a collaborative dialogue rather than a transactional service. When we begin, I spend significant time understanding your vision, often using mood boards and fabric swatches before we commit to a single cut. This ensures the final garment, whether it involves intricate 3D floral embroidery or precision tailoring, aligns perfectly with your personal style and comfort.
Designing an outfit is a personal journey. At my HSR Layout studio, we start with a conversation about the mood and the colors that resonate with you. I sketch your thoughts, and we explore fabrics together, from Moonga silk to velvet.
Once the design is finalized, my team begins the work. We specialize in intricate hand-stitched details, including zardosi and 3D floral machine embroidery. For custom blouses, this phase takes 15 to 20 days.
My construction process prioritizes movement and fit. We use a double layer of hard net in skirts for volume and reinforced boning in gowns for structure. During the two required fittings, we refine every detail, ensuring the garment feels like a natural extension of yourself. This is how we ensure that what you wear is entirely your own.
