Custom Groom Wear: Hand-Embroidered Sherwanis & Indo-Westerns
Everyone deserves to look grand, not just the bride. I craft complete wedding wardrobes for grooms, from traditional silk muhurtham kurtas to sharp reception suits, all designed to make you feel your best.
A complete wedding wardrobe for the groom. This video showcases three custom looks: a vibrant yellow chikankari kurta for the Haldi, a classic embroidered silk kurta for the Muhurtham, and a dazzling sequined tuxedo for the reception.

About this collection
I don't just stitch outfits. If you want your sherwani to match the bride’s lehenga, even down to the sash or pocket square, I can source the exact fabric and dye it to coordinate perfectly. It is these small, personal touches that bring the whole wedding look together, and I work with you through every step to make sure the fit is spot on.
Your Vision, My Craft
I believe that a groom's outfit should be just as carefully curated as the bride's. Whether you are looking for a classic South Indian muhurtham look or a modern fusion style for your reception, I focus on the details that define quality. No mass production. Just slow fashion with soul, designed right here in our Naagarabhaavi studio.
The Design Journey
We start with a conversation. You might have a specific reference photo, or you might be completely unsure where to start. That is perfectly fine. We sit down, look at fabric samples, and sketch out what works for your body type and the event atmosphere.
My design process includes:
- Fabric Selection: From premium brocades and velvets for reception sherwanis to breathable, high-quality silks for haldi and muhurtham.
- Structural Tailoring: For ceremonial outfits, I use heavy fusing and padding to ensure that royal, stiff silhouette that stays sharp throughout your ceremonies.
- Hand-Embroidered Details: Every piece features 100% hand embroidery, from zardozi on collars to subtle beadwork on cuffs.
- Fittings: I include up to 2 rounds of fittings to ensure the final piece fits you perfectly, with no wrinkles or discomfort.
Coordination Service
Many of my clients want a unified look for the family. I specialize in family-coordinated festive wear. We can create matching sets for father and son or subtle fabric coordination so the groom’s stole matches the bride's outfit. It makes for beautiful photos and a wonderful connection between outfits.
If you are ready to start planning your look, I would love to help you build a wedding wardrobe that is uniquely yours.
