Vegetarian Chaap Specialties in West Delhi
Sat Sri Akal! From fiery Champaran Handi to creamy Nawabi, my kitchen brings you the real taste of Punjabi chaap. Every bite is packed with desi masalas and the soul of home-cooked food.
Here I am preparing some of my unique chaap dishes, including the fun Baby Doll Chaap with a peri-peri twist and the creamy, royal Nawabi Chaap. These are flavours you won't find anywhere else in West Delhi.
My Veg Tawa Chaap is sizzled on a hot griddle with spices and butter until it's perfectly cooked. It's served with fresh onions and green chutney for a zesty finish.
This Tawa Chaap is cooked with a generous amount of butter and served with soft Rumali Roti. The combination of the spicy chaap and the thin bread is simply delicious.
My famous Veg Rogan Josh Chaap is a vegetarian take on the Kashmiri classic. The chaap is cooked in a rich, aromatic gravy and best enjoyed with hot naan.
Presenting the Champaran Handi Chaap, a dish where the chaap is slow-cooked inside a sealed clay pot. It's then dramatically poured onto the plate, full of smoky, rustic flavour.
The preparation of my Champaran Handi Chaap involves marinating the chaap with onions and spices before sealing it in the handi for that signature slow-cooked taste.
My special Veg Rogan Josh Chaap being prepared in a large copper vessel. The slow cooking process allows the spices to deeply penetrate the chaap, making it incredibly flavourful.
This is my Chatpata Chaap Roll Platter, perfect for sharing. Spicy chaap is wrapped in a soft rumali roti, sliced into bite-sized pieces, and served with chutney and onions.
Preparing a fresh batch of Malai Chaap. The chaap is marinated in a creamy mixture with ginger, garlic, and subtle spices, making it a mild yet flavourful starter.
My High Protein Champaran Handi Chaap is not only delicious but also a healthy option. The foil-sealed handi ensures all the flavours and nutrients are locked in during cooking.
About Vegetarian Chaap Specialties
My Champaran Handi Chaap is not just cooked, it is slow-simmered in clay pots, allowing the spices to infuse deeply into the soya. It is the perfect showstopper for any gathering. When you open that seal, the aroma hits the table instantly, delivering a rustic, smoky flavour you rarely find in standard catering.
I do not believe in quick-fix catering. My chaap preparations are crafted with the patience that authentic Punjabi cooking demands. Take the Veg Rogan Josh Chaap—it is not a compromise for vegetarians, but a bold, spicy dish that stands on its own. I marinate the chaap for hours before it ever touches the heat, ensuring the texture remains soft and tender, never chewy. Whether you want the rich, buttery texture of Nawabi Chaap for a family dinner or the zesty, street-style kick of my Tawa Chaap for a birthday bash, I handle it.
For larger orders, I bring the same hygiene and fresh prep standards I maintain at my Tilak Nagar outlet to your venue. No heavy preservatives, just pure vegetarian ingredients and that ghar ka swaad (homely taste) people travel across Delhi to find. If you are planning an event, tell me your guest count, and I will customize the spice levels and menu combinations to suit your crowd. Whether it is a small get-together or a large celebration, I ensure the food is hot, fresh, and delivered with the care I give to my daily langar seva. Just give me a day or two of notice so I can source the freshest ingredients for your platter.
