This duplex residence redefines luxury by marrying the historical grace of Regency aesthetics with the clarity of modern living. We balance ornate, classical influences with clean, contemporary design to create a home that feels both timeless and deeply personal.
The living room in our Modern Royale project combines a comfortable sectional sofa with rich textures and artwork. We used track lighting to create a flexible, gallery-like feel, highlighting specific features and creating a layered ambiance.
The open-plan kitchen features a dark, dramatic color scheme with warm wood accents and a functional island with seating. We designed it to be both a high-performance workspace and a stylish social hub.
The dining room is positioned adjacent to the kitchen, creating an easy flow for entertaining. The elegant marble-topped table and sophisticated lighting make it a perfect setting for formal gatherings.

About Modern Royale: Luxury Regency-Inspired Interiors
In this project, we moved beyond mere aesthetics to balance the gravity of Regency influence with functional clarity. Notice the transition between the formal marble-clad dining areas and the private, moodier bedrooms; this flow is achieved through strategic lighting layouts and precise material choices like fluted panels, ensuring each room feels distinct yet connected.
We treat Regency design not as a period style to replicate, but as a framework to elevate. In this duplex, the primary challenge was preventing the heavy, traditional elements from crowding the floor plan. We used light-filled, open layouts to ensure the architecture breathes. The marble surfaces are balanced by soft, layered lighting, using track profiles to highlight the texture of fluted wall panels without overpowering the space. We prioritize a material palette that ages gracefully: warm woods, natural stone, and muted, sophisticated color tones. By integrating the family lounge and theater as central hubs, we ensured the grandeur remains accessible for everyday life. This is not just about the visual impact of a room; it is about how the space functions for a family over time. We focus on the intersection of these traditional motifs and modern ergonomics to create a home that feels grounded in history but built for today's lifestyle.
