Playful Yoga and Mindful Art Workshops for Kids
Give your child a screen-free space to move, create, and just be. Join our playful yoga and art sessions at Pushpanjali Farms, where we swap gadgets for giggles and breathwork.
I love this moment of connection and play during a kids' yoga class. While I guide the session, children are free to explore movements in their own way, fostering a positive relationship with their bodies.
A view from the back of the class shows a group of children peacefully engaged in a mindfulness exercise. It's a powerful sight to see them find stillness together in our shared space.
This video shows me leading a session for a group of older children and teens in Goa. The principles of mindful movement are universal, helping ground the energy of participants of all ages.
This graphic explains the core idea of my workshops: a space free of digital distractions where kids connect with their inner creativity through breathwork, meditation, and art.

About Playful Yoga & Mindful Moments
I keep my batch sizes small, usually 8 to 12 children, so everyone gets personal attention and enough space to breathe. We don't ask kids to sit perfectly still or follow rigid rules. Instead, we use animal poses, storytelling, and messy art to help them release pent-up energy and find a little calm in their day, regardless of their previous experience with yoga.
In a world where kids are constantly plugged in, these sessions are a conscious pause. We meet at C28, Pushpanjali Farms, away from the city noise and digital distractions.
My approach to yoga isn't about perfect poses. It is about 'animal asanas' and 'lion's breath' to help children manage their own energy levels. For the art segment, we go completely hands-on. Whether it is color mixing or thematic painting, the goal is to let children express their feelings without worrying about the final result. Everything is provided, from canvases to healthy snacks. You do not need to bring anything but their enthusiasm.
We often see kids who arrive shy or restless leave with a sense of ease, having connected with a small sangat (community) of other children. These workshops are a blend of movement and creativity, designed specifically to introduce mindfulness for kids in a way that feels like play, not a lesson. Whether you are looking for anxiety management tools or simply a creative outlet, my doors are open.
