Mindful Yoga and Creative Workshops for Kids
A screen-free space for children to move, create, and find their calm in the middle of Delhi.
A close-up look at a young artist completely absorbed in the world of color. In my workshops, we give children the space and tools to let their creativity flow, turning a simple piece of paper into their own unique masterpiece.
This is what my kids' yoga sessions are all about: playful movement and happy smiles. I guide a small group of children, including one in a fun scorpion-like pose, creating a warm and interactive space for mindful movement for kids.
Here you can see a full class of children settled on their mats, ready for a session of mindfulness and storytelling. I create a calm group setting where kids feel comfortable and engaged, away from screens and daily pressures.
I wanted to share a little from my heart about why I started these workshops. In this video, I explain my vision for giving children a break from digital distractions and helping them connect with their breath and creativity.
A glimpse from a workshop in Goa, where I guided a group of young participants through a Kundalini yoga practice. It shows how these techniques can be adapted for children and teenagers to help them feel grounded and centered.
The beautiful result of a child's imagination at play. This colorful abstract painting is a wonderful example of the art they create and proudly take home after our creative expression workshops.

About Featured
Most weekends, my studio at Pushpanjali Farms feels like a sanctuary away from the city's noise. I designed these sessions specifically to offer children a proper digital detox. We swap iPads for paintbrushes and endless scrolling for stretching, helping them ground their energy after a long week of school and screens.
When I watch children rushing from one screen to another, I often think about where the simple joy of just being a child has gone. My approach is intentionally simple: I create a container where kids do not have to perform or be perfect. They just show up as they are.
We start with playful movement, such as animal poses and basic breathwork, which helps them regulate their nervous systems. It is not about perfect alignment, but about learning to feel their own bodies. Then, we transition into creative expression. Whether it is color mixing or thematic painting, the goal is to let their hands move and their minds quiet down.
Parents often tell me their children feel lighter and calmer after a session. We keep our batches intentionally small, usually 8 to 12 children, so I can give every child the attention they need. We provide all the supplies, from professional brushes and high-quality acrylics to sanitized, grade-A mats. You do not need to bring anything except their energy.
These sessions act as a reset button. In a world full of information overload, these few hours allow children to reconnect with their own imagination and breath. It is a joy to watch them discover that the peace they are looking for is already inside them.
