About Shotokan Karate Classes
Why I Teach Karate
Shotokan Karate is more than punches and blocks for me - it’s about discipline, respect, and testing your own limits. I believe in putting in the hard work, even when it hurts. That’s where you find real strength. If you’re ready to push yourself, you’ll fit right in.
Who Can Join?
Kids from age 4 and up start with the basics - punches, kicks, blocks, and the idea that karate begins with courtesy. Discipline is big here, along with beginner Shotokan karate drills and lots of moves for flexibility and coordination.
Adults get a full system that blends traditional kata training with modern fitness. Doesn’t matter if you’re starting fresh or getting back after a break, I’ll help you build strength, confidence, and better health.
What Training Feels Like
Expect a full-body workout every session. We cover fundamentals, kata, and karate sparring for adults. The classes mix classic techniques with practical self-defence, plus cardio kickboxing, bootcamps, yoga, and meditation for stamina.
Progress & Competition
Every belt earned marks your journey - and yes, you get a proper certificate that’s recognized internationally. The goal isn’t just a black belt, it’s lifelong learning. If you want to compete, we train for forms, sparring, and championships at all levels. Together, we push each other to be better, for ourselves and for the team. Bolo Bharat Mata ki Jai! (Victory to Mother India!)
