About The Path to Black Belt: Student Achievements
Grading is not a formality here. Every student, from our school programs in Borivali and Kandivali to our adult batches in Virar, must meet strict ASAI International standards to earn their next rank. We evaluate technical precision in Kihon, Kata, and Kumite before awarding certificates, ensuring each student has truly mastered the skills required for their current level.
At All India Shotokan Karate-Do Federation, we view the belt system as a map of your personal evolution. It is not merely about changing the color of your belt; it is about demonstrating true competency in the Shotokan style. We hold regular quarterly grading exams, ensuring that every student who earns their next rank has done so through consistent, focused training.
