About Mentoring Future Lawyers

Cracking the Advocate-on-Record (AOR) examination is not just about reading case laws; it requires a deep understanding of the Supreme Court's procedural nuances. In my workshops, I focus on the strategic side of filing—from navigating registry objections to mastering the art of the 'List of Dates'—to help students bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world courtroom practice.

I have always believed that our profession should not be a closed circuit. My engagements at institutions like NLU Jodhpur, Manipal University, and the Indian Law Institute are rooted in a simple philosophy: if I can help a student avoid a mistake I made early in my career, I consider that a success.

During my lectures and interactive sessions, I move beyond textbooks to discuss the realities of litigation. We break down the practicalities of Supreme Court practice—whether it is managing Constitutional challenges under Article 145, or understanding the critical difference between private interest and a genuine Public Interest Litigation (PIL).

My goal is to demystify the AOR process. It is a grueling, specialized path that demands precision, and I make it a point to share the strategies that helped me navigate it. From judging moot court competitions to virtual training programs with platforms like Vidhishala, I emphasize that law is not just about eloquent arguments; it is about evidence, preparation, and the discipline to adhere to the Supreme Court Registry's rigorous standards. If you are a law college looking to organize a workshop or an aspiring practitioner seeking clarity on the AOR path, let us connect.

I am Siddharth, a Supreme Court advocate. I believe the best way to honor our legal heritage is by sharpening the next generation of advocates who will eventually stand in the same courtrooms.
