Law is not just files and courtrooms; it is about the people and origins that shape us. Here is a glimpse into the community, heritage, and team dynamics that ground my practice.

Speaking at the celebration of the 537th Bikaner Foundation Day, held at the Indian Law Institute in Delhi. It is important to stay connected to one's roots.

The entire group from our law firm's 'Jigsaw Cricket League 2023'. Team building and camaraderie are just as important outside the office as inside.

A proud moment for me at the magnificent new building of the Rajasthan High Court in Jodhpur, my home state. The architecture is a stunning blend of royal history and constitutional elegance.

A casual meeting with junior advocates. I always enjoy spending time with and mentoring young members of the legal community.

Posing for a picture with a junior colleague. Building strong professional relationships is key.

Presenting an award at the Jigsaw Cricket League. Recognizing effort and sportsmanship is part of our firm's culture.

Lined up with my team before the start of the match. A great day of friendly competition.

About Community and Heritage

Legal success is rarely a solo act. Whether we are hosting the Jigsaw Cricket League to build office camaraderie or I am connecting with my Bikaner roots, these moments define my philosophy in the courtroom. A lawyer who understands the value of community, prioritizes active mentorship for juniors, and respects cultural heritage is inherently better equipped to handle sensitive constitutional or human rights cases where the human element is everything.

Beyond the technicalities of the Supreme Court and High Court proceedings, my life is built on a balance between professional rigor and personal roots. I come from the Pushkarna community, and the ethos of lifting others up is central to how I run Jigsaw Law.

My practice is not just about the verdict; it is about the team of 'Devils'—my clerks, junior associates, and staff—who work alongside me. We organize initiatives like the Jigsaw Cricket League not just for recreation, but because a law firm is a family, and camaraderie is essential for sustaining the long hours required in high-stakes litigation.

My connection to Bikaner and my frequent visits to the Rajasthan High Court in Jodhpur serve as more than just a trip back home. These experiences keep me grounded in the ground realities of our country. When I lecture at NLU Jodhpur or Manipal University, I am not just teaching law; I am trying to pass on the importance of building a niche and maintaining balance within our constitutional institutions.

This approach informs my public interest litigation. When I fight for environmental justice or represent Kashmiri Pandits, I am not just arguing points of law. I am advocating for the communities I care about. My philosophy is that to effectively interpret the law, one must first understand the society that lives by it.

I do not see my practice as just a series of cases, but as a journey shared with my team and my community. Whether I am mentoring law students or spending time with my colleagues at Jigsaw Law, I prioritize the human element in everything I do. It keeps me grounded and, frankly, it makes me a sharper advocate.
