About Professional Journey & Milestones

The Supreme Court isn't just about interpreting statutes; it is about finding the gap where the law has overlooked the human element. When I take on a case, I do not just look at the letter of the law. I examine the feasibility of your petition—looking at locus standi and risks—to ensure we don't just file papers, but build a robust strategy that holds up before the bench.

Lessons from the Bar

My journey is built on the shoulders of the legends I have observed in the corridors of the Supreme Court. Learning from stalwarts like the late Fali Sam Nariman and Ram Jethmalani taught me that a great lawyer possesses more than just technical knowledge. They possess a sharp wit, an uncompromising fearlessness, and the ability to think outside the box. These interactions were my true classrooms.

Earning the Responsibility

Being appointed as Panel A Counsel for the Union of India was a significant turning point in my career. It was not just a title; it was a mandate to uphold the sanctity of our institutions. This role has sharpened my understanding of administrative law and the government's perspective in high-stakes litigation. It demands absolute precision, from the paperbook preparation to the final rejoinder in court.

Beyond the Courtroom

Law is a service, and sometimes that service extends beyond professional fees. My work has included documenting the struggles of Kashmiri Pandits and fighting for environmental justice along the Jojari river. These experiences grounded me. They taught me that the law is a tool for social equilibrium. Whether I am representing the government or fighting for a pro bono cause, the principle remains the same: balance.

My Philosophy

I believe the Parliament makes laws, and the Supreme Court interprets them. This balance is fragile. In my practice, I fight to maintain this. I don't believe in just winning or losing; I believe in leaving an indelible mark on the legal landscape. If you are looking for an advocate who values constitutional principles as much as court craft, you are in the right place.

I believe law is a craft that requires constant evolution, not a static job. My team and I work around the clock because justice rarely waits for office hours. We fight hard, stay rooted in our values, and always aim for balance in the courtroom.
