About Constitutional & Administrative Law
My Approach to Constitutional & Administrative Law
Dekhiye (Look), for me, this field isn't just about rules in dusty books. It’s about standing up when the government or big authorities cross the line, and making sure the rights written in our Constitution actually mean something for real people.
Where My Experience Counts
I’m an Advocate-on-Record at the Supreme Court of India, so I can file and fight cases directly at the top. My work includes:
- Challenging Laws & Government Actions: If you feel a law or government order is unfair or hits your fundamental rights, I handle writ petitions. I was part of the Article 370 Supreme Court case, which was a big deal nationally.
- David vs. Goliath Fights: Whether you’re up against the state or a municipal body, I’ve argued on both sides - sometimes fighting for individuals, sometimes representing the government. This gives me a full-circle view.
- Service Law Disputes: When regulatory bodies or employers threaten your career, like they tried with nearly 900 dental doctors, I step in to protect your professional standing.
Why I Take This Stand
Kabhi-kabhi kanoon se zyada insaaf important hai (Sometimes, justice matters more than the law itself). I believe equity must be given its place - not everything is black and white. I've gone to court for those unfairly denied opportunities, arguing not just on law but what’s fair.
My Legal Philosophy
I strongly back the separation of powers doctrine - Parliament makes laws, Courts interpret, and neither should overstep. Iss tarike se desh nahi chal sakta (the country can't run like this) if the balance breaks.
Where I Work
Mainly at the Supreme Court, but also Delhi, Rajasthan, and Bombay High Courts.
