Flow in Nature: Moving Meditations

Nature isn't just a backdrop; it is my dance partner. From high-altitude Himalayan treks to quiet afternoons under Bangalore's banyan trees, I explore how movement connects with the world around us.

Hooping in the Himalayas during a high-altitude trek was a truly special moment. Flowing in silence with the mountains as my audience was nerve-wracking but incredibly rewarding. It was a powerful reminder of how this art form connects me to the world around me.

Sometimes starting over feels exhausting, but my hoops remind me that my path is circular, not linear. This flow session under a massive banyan tree was a moment of reflection on cyclical phases and finding joy in the process. It’s a core part of my personal philosophy.

Practicing massive isolations and iso-pops with a jumbo hoop in the park. This kind of practice is not just about physical strength but also about playing with the physics of the circle. It’s a fun way to challenge myself and discover new possibilities in my flow.

About Flow in Nature: Moving Meditations

When I perform or practice in nature, things rarely go exactly according to plan. You might see a hoop wobble because of a mountain breeze, or my footing shift on uneven grass, but that is the point. It is an honest, raw exchange between me, my props, and the environment that you simply cannot replicate in a controlled studio setting.
