Stop chasing quick fixes that don't last. I am Dr. Shruti, and I do not believe in magic cures. I look at your pain differently, moving beyond basic machines to find the actual source. If you are ready to understand your body and put in the work for long-term recovery, you are in the right place.

Let's bust some physiotherapy myths. Myth: Physio is only for athletes. Truth: It helps everyone, from office workers to seniors. Myth: You can just follow YouTube exercises. Truth: Wrong exercises can cause more damage. A physio customizes your plan.

A patient with knee pain was convinced the problem was her knee. My assessment showed it was actually her back. A tight QL muscle was compressing her sciatic nerve. After a 25-minute session releasing her back, the knee pain was gone. A good physio finds the real source.

I get frustrated seeing other doctors on Instagram giving half-information and quick fixes. Telling someone with "cervical" to just do two stretches is irresponsible. There are many types of cervical problems, and each needs a proper diagnosis and tailored plan.

A patient with neck degeneration was told to stop driving and using his phone. This is not a long-term solution. My goal is to strengthen the neck muscles so you can return to your daily activities, not avoid them. Avoiding movement makes you weaker.

Is your physiotherapist a red flag? Episode 3: If your physio's clinic lacks basic equipment like TheraBands, dumbbells, and balance boards, and they don't use them for your exercises, it's time to find a new one.

Is your physiotherapist a red flag? Episode 2: If your physio only uses a massage gun instead of their hands for joint mobilization, they are missing the point. Manual therapy requires skill and feel that a machine cannot replicate.

Is your physiotherapist a red flag? Episode 1: If your physio just puts you on a TENS or ultrasound machine and walks away without a proper assessment and a personalized exercise plan, you are not getting real physiotherapy.

I see videos of "chiropractors" doing dangerous internal adjustments for tailbone pain. This is a gimmick with no scientific basis. A real physiotherapist finds the root cause, which is often related to pelvic alignment and muscle imbalance, and treats it with proper manual therapy and exercises.

A video was going viral claiming morning walks on concrete roads will wear out your knees. This is wrong. Our bodies adapt to the forces placed on them. The key is to supplement walking with strength training to support your joints. Don't stop moving because of misinformation.

Is walking enough exercise? Not if you have pain. A patient walked 10km daily but still had knee and back pain. Walking is a group activity for your muscles; some can slack off. You need specific strength exercises to target the weak muscles that are causing the problem.
