I use spinal adjustments to unlock stiff joints, but they are just one tool in my toolkit. Real recovery happens when we combine these techniques with the right exercises.

Performing a chiropractic adjustment for a patient's back. This technique helps to mobilize stiff joints in the spine.

A chiropractic adjustment for the neck and lower back. You can see the precise and quick movement used to restore joint function.

This patient's reaction says it all: "Ooh, maza aa gaya" (Wow, that felt great). A good neck and back adjustment can provide incredible relief. She felt 60-70% better after her first session.

A patient getting his lower back adjusted. He felt 60-70% better in just one session.

A satisfying neck adjustment. This technique is great for relieving the stiffness and heaviness that comes with cervical pain.

This patient felt the congestion in his neck disappear after this adjustment. Remember, the relief from an adjustment is temporary unless you follow it up with the prescribed exercises.

Performing neck and thoracic spine adjustments. These techniques are aimed at improving mobility in the upper and mid-back.

This patient's neck range of motion and pain improved immediately after her first chiropractic adjustment.

A normal conversation during a chiropractic session. I always try to make my patients feel comfortable and informed.

Performing neck and back adjustments. The "cracking" sound is just gas being released from the joint, similar to cracking your knuckles.

About Chiropractic Adjustments

Yes, the 'pop' sound you hear during an adjustment is satisfying—it is just gas escaping from the joint capsule. But do not mistake that sound for a cure. I use chiropractic adjustments to restore immediate mobility, but if you stop there, the stiffness will return. If you want real recovery, you must commit to the exercises I prescribe after your session. That is how we turn temporary relief into a long-term fix.

Chiropractic adjustments are powerful, but they are not magic. In my clinic, I use them primarily for patients struggling with locked joints or severe stiffness. When I perform a high-velocity thrust, the goal is simple: restore normal range of motion so you can move, stretch, and strengthen without that sharp, restricted feeling.

However, too many people treat adjustments like a quick fix button. You walk in with back pain, get cracked, feel relief, and think you are done. That is dangerous thinking. If your muscle imbalances, poor posture, or weak core are the real reason your spine is misaligned, a quick adjustment will not stop the pain from coming back.

My process is different. I will not just crack everything in sight. Before we do any adjustments, I need to know why your pain exists. This means a proper assessment—looking at your gait, checking for muscle tension, and reviewing X-rays or MRIs if necessary. Sometimes, the safest and most effective option is not an adjustment at all, but rather manual therapy, mobilization, or dry needling.

Remember, manual therapy gives you the mobility to move, while your exercises give you the strength to stay moving. If you are not ready to do your homework and stick to the routine I design, then my chiropractic services probably are not the right fit for you. But if you are ready to put in the effort and understand the science behind your recovery, let us get started.
