Our Evidence-Based Approach to Pain Relief
I believe in treating the root cause of your pain, not just masking it with medication. My goal is to get you moving again with evidence-based therapy and personalized home exercises, whether you are recovering from an injury or managing chronic discomfort.
Physiotherapy is not just for physical pain; it's for your overall well-being. Here, I'm guiding a patient through a breathing regulation exercise with a therapy ball to help manage stress and its physical manifestations.
The first and most important step in any treatment is listening. I take the time to hear your story and understand every detail of your pain, because a correct diagnosis starts with patient listening.
Many people confuse physiotherapy with massage, but there is a big difference. I am trained in advanced techniques like myofascial release, which targets the connective tissue beneath the skin to release tightness and improve circulation, going beyond simple muscle relaxation.
My practice is built on three key pillars: we diagnose the root cause of your issue, we treat it with targeted therapies, and we rehabilitate you to prevent it from coming back. This ensures a complete and lasting recovery.
A common question is whether to use a hot or cold pack. I recommend using a cold pack for fresh injuries and swelling to reduce inflammation, and a hot pack for chronic pain and stiffness to relax muscles and improve blood flow.
Pain isn't just for the elderly. A sedentary lifestyle, lack of sleep, and vitamin deficiencies are common reasons younger people experience chronic pain. I help you identify and address these lifestyle factors as part of your treatment.
About My Approach to Healing
Pain isn't a life sentence, and it’s rarely just about the area that hurts. In my clinic in New Rajinder Nagar, we start by mapping how you move and identifying where you might be compensating. Whether you need myofascial release for chronic stiffness or a targeted rehab plan for a recent injury, we will work together until you are confident enough to manage your health on your own at home.
How We Heal
My approach is built on three simple pillars: diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate. We don't believe in passive therapy. Instead, we combine hands-on manual techniques—like myofascial release and soft tissue mobilization—with modern electrotherapy like IFT and TENS to manage pain signals immediately.
Why Movement Matters
My philosophy, 'Motion is lotion', isn't just a catchy phrase. It is the core of how I work. Once we reduce your acute pain, we shift focus to corrective exercises. I teach you the movements you need to prevent that pain from coming back. If you are dealing with chronic spine aches or recurring joint stiffness, we look at your lifestyle, posture, and even nutritional habits to see what might be driving the issue.
Your Treatment Path
Whether you visit my Delhi clinic or require home visits across NCR, the process remains the same:
- Assessment: We begin with a deep dive into your history and physical alignment.
- Targeted Therapy: Using modalities like Laser or Ultrasound where necessary to promote healing.
- Empowerment: The goal is for you to eventually become your own therapist. When you are 70-80% better, I shift the focus to a home exercise chart that empowers you to maintain your strength.
Physiotherapy is about more than just fixing a body part; it is about reclaiming your quality of life. Let’s identify the root cause of your discomfort together.
