About Clothing Upcycling & Redesign
I love turning old favourites into something you’ll actually want to wear again. There’s something special about giving a saree or wedding outfit a new story, especially when it’s packed with memories. Seeing someone light up when they see their upcycled piece - that’s what keeps me going.
What I Do
- Take your old sarees or special garments and redesign them into modern outfits
- Keep the original vibe and memories intact, but make it fit your current style
- Handle delicate fabrics with care, especially when working on upcycled saree to lehenga or a full old saree transformation
How It Works
- We start with a chat - bring your ideas, or just your garment and an open mind
- I’ll help you figure out what’s possible, even if the fabric has stains or isn’t enough (we can add matching bits if needed)
- My team and I carefully take apart the original, then stitch it into something new - could be a gown, kurti, jumpsuit, or even two kurtis from one saree
Not Just Sarees
- I also work with wedding lehengas, old suits, and more
- Can create a new blouse or redesign ethnic wear, keeping details like embroidery butis (motifs) so it still feels like “yours”
Real Talk
- I’m honest about the process - sometimes things go wrong, but I’ll always fix it till you’re happy
- Small, local team - so you get personal attention and a custom ethnic outfit redesign that’s truly yours
If you want to see your old clothes in a new light, I’m here for it.
