Custom Saree Transformations & Designer Redesigns
A look at my most-loved transformations and the magic we create when giving your old, treasured garments a brand new story.
This project was so special. We took a client's mother's saree, which had some stains, and transformed it into this beautiful Angrakha kurti and panel skirt set. We even added a plain fabric to complete the look and re-dyed the dupatta to get the perfect match. Seeing her joy was everything.
Nothing beats the smiles during happy client trials. This moment is when all the hard work pays off, seeing you feel amazing in a custom-made outfit designed just for you. This beautiful blue gown features a corset back and sparkling fabric.
Yes, we can turn a saree into a gown. We took this beautiful embroidered net saree and redesigned it into a full-length gown with flared sleeves, perfect for a wedding or reception. The final photo shows our happy client enjoying her new outfit at an event.
When a client comes to us with a Pinterest photo and a saree, we get to work. We recreated this stunning red suit, complete with a unique neckline and delicate embroidery from her original saree, turning inspiration into reality.
It's so important to preserve the memories held in a wedding lehenga. For this project, we carefully recreated the original flower butis and embroidery from our client's bridal blouse onto a new, modern design she could wear again.
We love making the most out of your fabric. Here’s how we transformed a single beautiful saree into two completely different designer kurtis, each with its own unique style. This is a great way to maximize the value of your old garments.
We believe in being honest about the process. Some days are hard, and this was one of them where we didn't get it right the first time. But our promise is to always take responsibility and work on it until you are completely happy with your outfit.
A quick look at a day in our studio. From new designs like this floral dress and beaded corsets to custom ethnic wear, there's always something beautiful being created by our team.
About Featured
Every outfit you see here started as someone's old, treasured saree. My process is simple, honest, and completely focused on salvage. Whether we are dealing with a faded pallu, a stubborn stain, or just not enough fabric to make a full lehenga, I will find a solution. I am not about making promises of perfection without effort, but I am about working on your piece until it is something you actually feel proud to wear. When you bring your fabric to me, we figure out the design together, layer by layer, to ensure the memories stay intact while the fit becomes modern and comfortable.
How I Transform Your Sarees
Turning an old saree into a designer outfit is a collaboration. When you come to my studio in Punjabi Bagh, we don't just pick a design; we look at the fabric's condition.
The Process:
- Assessment: We inspect the saree for stains, tears, or zari damage. If the fabric has seen better days, I will suggest how to hide the flaws using creative border placement or lining.
- Design & Construction: Whether it is a flared lehenga, a structured jumpsuit, or an Anarkali, I use specific techniques like panel cutting to maximize the flare and keep the original embroidery prominent.
- Enhancements: If we are short on fabric, I will always tell you upfront. We can add matching georgette or silk panels to complete the look without it feeling like an afterthought.
Why I Focus on Real-World Results
I share my behind-the-scenes moments because I want you to know this is real work. Some days, a dyeing experiment for a dupatta fails, or a trial fit does not go as planned. I share these because my commitment to you is to fix it. If you are not happy, I am not happy. You will see this transparency in how I handle every consultation, from the initial fabric discussion to the final studio trial.
