I’m all about giving old favourites a fresh vibe. The denim jacket with frayed cuffs, the clutch that’s seen a hundred parties - these things are more than just stuff. They’ve got stories, yaad hai? (you remember?) My service is for anyone who wants to upcycle and redesign those pieces with crochet, making them bilkul naya (totally new) but still full of memories.
What I Actually Do
- Take your old piece (like jackets, clutches, cushion covers... even odd things like rice bags) and transform it with crochet patchwork redesign.
- Not interested in just following trends or making things for show - I try to keep it sustainable and personal.
- Some of my favourite glow-ups: Frida-inspired denim jacket, a tired clutch turned tulip-stitched beauty, and a rice bag-turned-charm pouch. Each has its own kahani (story).
Here’s How It Works
- You send me pics of your item, we do some gup shup (casual chat) about colours and your ideas.
- Once you send it over, I get to work, one stitch at a time. Sometimes it takes longer - this is slow, hand-done work.
- Your piece comes back to you, ready for its next chapter.
Why I Do It
For me, it’s all about sustainable crochet makeover and upcycled fashion accessories. I believe in slow, meaningful art - not fast fashion. If you have a pyaara (dear) old item you can’t let go of, let’s give it a new twist together.
