My approach goes deeper than standard massage. Using specialized IASTM tools and my own Accutrigger technique, I target the stubborn knots and dehydrated fascia that rest and generic physiotherapy often fail to address. We do not just treat the symptom, we find the source of the issue to ensure long-term relief.
Pain is rarely just about the muscle that hurts. It is often about the sticky, dehydrated fascia surrounding it.
The Process
Every session begins with a diagnostic review. We look at your medical reports, like MRIs or X-Rays, and perform a mobility screening to see how your joints are actually moving. I need to know exactly where the restriction lies before I apply any treatment.
Hands-On Treatment
Once we identify the issue, I use a combination of techniques tailored to your body:
- IASTM Scraping: Using brass tools to break up scar tissue and release fascial restrictions.
- Dry Cupping: To lift connective tissues and improve localized blood flow.
- Accutrigger Therapy: My specific blend of trigger point and acupressure work to release deep muscle knots that you cannot stretch away yourself.
- Deep Tissue Manipulation: Firm, focused work around the neck, back, or injured joints.
Recovery and Prevention
You do not leave the clinic without a plan. I provide mobility drills, such as specific movements to maintain the range of motion we achieved during the session. If you have a desk job causing a rounded back or stiff neck, we will also look at your ergonomics to prevent the pain from coming back. This is about teaching you to move correctly so your body stays strong and resilient for the long run.
