About Celebrating Culture and Togetherness
When our children prepare for Janmashtami or Independence Day, they go beyond simply dressing up. They learn the stories behind the traditions, prepare their own speeches to build public speaking confidence, and engage in collaborative projects to decorate our space. It is a practical lesson in history, unity, and self-expression, all managed within our calm, child-led environment.
More Than Just Celebration
At Chimes, we view festivals and cultural events as an integral part of our 'Culture' curriculum. In the Montessori method, we believe in connecting children to their immediate environment and the world beyond. By integrating traditions into our school life, we provide context to what they learn in books, making abstract concepts like heritage and patriotism tangible.
