A complete session includes strength, core, and recovery. Here our athletes are working on barbell lunges for leg strength, followed by weighted crunches and a group stretching circle to improve flexibility.
This circuit is designed for building athletic power. It combines weighted step ups with kettlebells, explosive box jumps, and medicine ball squats to improve balance, speed, and lower body strength all at once.
A look at our circuit training in action. Athletes rotate through stations including dumbbell deadlifts, barbell lunges, and jump rope to keep the intensity high and work the entire body.
The fundamentals of strength. We focus on proper form for classic lifts like the barbell squat and bench press. This is supplemented with bodyweight exercises like push-ups to build a complete athlete.
Box jumps are a key part of our plyometric training. We guide athletes of all levels, both men and women, to develop explosive power and improve their vertical jump safely and effectively.
Using medicine balls for dynamic movements like the ball squat helps improve core stability and explosive strength. It’s about remembering what you deserve and putting in the work to get it.
Our summer camp sessions often include medicine ball workouts. We teach young athletes proper squat and lunge form, and finish with core exercises and recovery stretches.
This synchronized squat and jump drill builds both strength and team coordination. Using barbells, our athletes work on explosive power, a key component for sports like Kabaddi.
About Functional Strength Training
This isn't a place for mirror selfies. We train at the Rajiv Gandhi Sports Complex using outdoor dirt tracks, stadium stairs, and real iron weights. If you want a climate-controlled room, this isn't for you. But if you want to build genuine functional power alongside a group that pushes you to work harder than you thought possible, you will fit right in.
How We Train
We focus on what actually works. Our sessions are built around athletic conditioning that translates to real-world strength.
- Old-School & Modern Methods: We mix classic lifts like barbell squats and bench press with functional tools like tire flips, sledgehammers, and battle ropes.
- Circuit Intensity: You will rotate through stations designed to hit your entire body. Expect a mix of medicine ball squats, explosive box jumps, and weighted lunges to build stamina and speed.
- The Vibe: Everything we do is in a group format. The energy is raw and loud. When you train with us, you are surrounded by competitive athletes from Kabaddi and Netball, which naturally pushes everyone to keep the intensity high.
Why Our Approach Works
Most gyms separate strength training from cardio. We don't. Our programs require you to move, jump, and lift, ensuring that your heart rate stays up while your muscles are under load.
- Core Foundation: We dedicate time in every session to core work, including planks and weighted crunches, because everything starts from a strong center.
- No Shortcuts: Idhu namma core belief (this is our core belief). There is no luck involved in getting stronger. Whether you are aiming for weight loss or trying to improve your vertical jump for sports, the process is the same: show up, put in the work, and improve daily.
