Yoga is a complete science for the body and mind. Join us to experience traditional practice through disciplined alignment, Sanskrit chanting, and a focus on self-study.

Teaching Natarajasana on the sacred banks of the Ganga river in Rishikesh. Practicing in nature connects us to a powerful, ancient energy.

Beginning our pelvic floor workshop with a small puja and chanting. Setting a sacred intention is the first step in any deep practice.

Chanting the Sangachhadhwam mantra with my students. We come together in practice, we speak with one voice, and we unite our minds in a common purpose.

We begin our practice by chanting the invocation to Patanjali, honoring the lineage of sages who gifted us this profound science of yoga.

Students practicing Eka Pada Urdhva Dhanurasana in the holy waters of the Ganga. This is an offering, a form of devotion and surrender.

A yoga class on the river bank in Rishikesh. The open sky and the sound of the river become part of our meditation.

Guiding students in Sirsasana by the Ganga. Inverting the body here feels like bowing to the earth and the heavens.

Ustrasana (Camel Pose) practice by the river. Opening our hearts in this sacred place is a profound experience.

About The Spiritual Path of Yoga

My approach to the spiritual path of yoga is not about casual stretching; it is about abhyasa, or consistent, dedicated practice. Whether we are in the studio at AumYogaShala in Gurgaon or practicing at a retreat, we begin with puja and chanting to set a clear intention. I use props like chairs and belts not to make poses easier, but to correct your skeletal alignment so that the energy can flow freely through your body.
