My Fitness Philosophy: Finding Strength in Letting Go
Fitness is not just about the grind. It is about listening to your body, honoring your limits, and knowing when to say 'Jaane do' (let it go) to move forward.
Recovery is more than just physical. It's a journey of crawling, climbing, and sometimes crying, but always moving forward. I understand the fight because I’ve lived it, and I’m here to support you through every phase, helping you emerge stronger and more aware.
Finding moments of simple happiness in the gym. The healing journey is also about celebrating the good days, a good curl day, and the light that finds you.
A smile can be a sign of resilience. Acknowledging the small joys is part of the process, a reminder that even on hard days, there is light and strength within.
Standing tall and centered. My philosophy is about finding your balance, both physically in the gym and mentally in life.
Peace signs and a smile. This is me, embracing the journey with positivity and an open heart. This is the energy I bring to our sessions.
About My Fitness Philosophy: Jaane Do
Recovery is rarely a linear path and I will not pretend it is. In our sessions, we focus on what you can do today, not what you could do before the injury. Whether we are working on biomechanics at Cult HSR or flow in Koramangala, my goal is to help you distinguish between good muscle fatigue and harmful joint pain so you can build strength safely.
Fitness is often sold as a linear progression of gains, but my experience with ACL and meniscus surgery taught me otherwise. It is messy, filled with days where just standing feels like a victory. 'Jaane do' is not about giving up. It is about accepting that everything is temporary, including your current limitations. This philosophy guides everything I teach:
-
Post-Surgery & Injury Rehab: I use the same protocol I used to rebuild my own knee. We manage kinesiophobia (the fear of re-injury) by taking slow, deliberate steps and integrating doctor clearance notes into our routine.
-
Movement Over Weight: We start by fixing alignment. If your posture is off, adding weight only compounds the issue. We use props like yoga wheels and blocks to safely increase range of motion and open tight areas like hips and the thoracic spine.
-
Real-time Alignment: In our 1-on-1 sessions, I provide tactile cues for every squat and lift. You get immediate feedback on your form to ensure your joints remain protected. We work on breath mechanics and core bracing to make sure your foundation is rock solid.
Training with me means you get a coach who knows that sometimes you need to cry, sometimes you need to crawl, but you never stop moving. Whether you are aiming for strength training or therapeutic yoga, we keep it honest, we keep it safe, and we keep it focused on your long-term health.
