Corrective Form & Technique for Safe Movement
It is not just about what you lift, but how you move. I focus on breaking down your alignment and posture so you can build strength without the risk of re-injury. Let us fix your form, one breath at a time.
Proper form is everything in recovery. Here, I break down the transition from Chaturangasana to Urdhva Mukha Svanasana, focusing on the small details like tailbone tuck and shoulder position that prevent injury and build true strength. This is the level of care we'll apply to every movement.
This yoga flow demonstrates the importance of smooth transitions between poses. Corrective exercise is not just about static positions, but also about how you move from one to the next, maintaining control and awareness throughout.
About Corrective Form & Technique
In our sessions, I do not just watch you move; we analyze it. I often record your sets so you can see your own alignment in real-time. Whether we are correcting your tailbone tuck in Chaturanga or managing an anterior pelvic tilt, you will know exactly what your body is doing, rather than just guessing. This visual feedback is key to building true, safe strength.
Beyond the Reps
Recovery and strength building are often misunderstood as just 'getting it done'. In reality, if your foundation is shaky, no amount of effort will help you progress. Whether you are coming back from an ACL injury or simply trying to fix the posture damage from a desk job, alignment is where we start.
I work primarily out of Cult HSR and Koramangala, where we use props like resistance bands and PVC pipes to open up tight thoracic spines and correct hip imbalances. My approach is simple: we break down the movement, focus on breath mechanics, and ensure your biomechanics are sound before we add any intensity.
Embracing the Process
Sometimes, you just have to accept where your body is today. Kitna bhi koshish kar lo tum, antatah wahi hoga jo hona likha hoga (no matter how much you try, what's destined will happen). Recovery is a process, not a race. We focus on breathing through the discomfort and celebrating the small wins—like finally mastering a squat depth that does not irritate your knees. If you are struggling with pain or feel lost in your fitness journey, know that it is okay to ask for help. We will take it step-by-step, managing the fear of re-injury with patient, trauma-informed coaching.
