My journey is my proof. This is a look at my strengthening and rehabilitation work, eight months after my own ACL and meniscus surgery. We will use targeted exercises like RDLs and hamstring curls to safely rebuild your strength and improve your function, one step at a time.

This is what targeted knee strengthening looks like. Goblet squats, when done correctly, are an incredible tool for rebuilding stability around the knee joint. We will focus on controlled movements that build your confidence and capacity.

Core work is the foundation of all strength. Here, I'm working with a partner on exercises like leg raises and Russian twists, which are essential for stabilizing the spine and supporting compound lifts during recovery.

I don’t just prescribe generic workouts; I build routines based on my own experience with ACL and meniscus surgery. We start with low-impact corrective movements—like specific hamstring activation or controlled goblet squats—that help you regain stability without overloading the joint. If you are feeling hesitant about getting back under a bar, we start with regressions that manage the fear of re-injury, ensuring your form is solid before we add any load.

Recovery is a messy, unpredictable journey, and honestly, it is mostly mental. When I went through my own surgery, I realized that jumping straight back into heavy lifts is a recipe for more pain. That is why my approach here at Cult HSR and Koramangala focuses on 'Return to Sport' without the ego.

We start by looking at your movement patterns. Are you favouring one leg? Is your core stabilizing your spine? We use video analysis to check your form in real-time, especially for compound lifts like deadlifts and squats, to ensure your mechanics are safe. We prioritize biomechanical adjustments, making sure your knee tracking is correct and your glute activation is firing properly.

It is not just about strength; it is about control. We use props like resistance bands and yoga blocks to support your joints while increasing mobility. For those coming back from surgery, we integrate your physiotherapist’s notes into our sessions so we are building you up, not breaking you down.
