I started by making mistakes, just like everyone else. Here is how my practice shifted from chasing complex poses to prioritizing what actually helps you feel better.

When I started teaching, I made many mistakes, like focusing too much on complex asanas. Now, I prioritize simple, effective practices and focus on how a pose feels rather than how it looks, ensuring my teaching is always aligned with the student's needs.

This is a standing leg raise, a pose that challenges balance and flexibility. My teaching has evolved to focus more on how a pose feels for the individual student rather than chasing perfect alignment.

This Tree Pose (Vrikshasana) against a window symbolizes finding balance and stability even amidst the hustle of city life.

Practicing with a partner can bring a new dimension to your asana. Here, we explore a supported standing split, building trust and shared focus.

About My Teaching Journey

In my early teaching days, I spent half the class demonstrating poses, thinking that was what a 'good' teacher did. Now, I rarely demonstrate. By staying off the mat, I can watch your alignment, observe your breathing patterns, and provide verbal corrections that are specific to your body’s unique proportions. This isn't just about saving energy; it is about keeping my attention entirely on your practice, ensuring you are safe and supported without the distraction of trying to mimic a 'perfect' shape.
