Master a World of Healing Instruments

I believe the rhythm is already within you. In my sessions, we go beyond theory—you will get hands-on with over 40 ancient and modern healing instruments, from Tibetan singing bowls to the soulful handpan, all intuitively played.

What is the history of the singing bowl? These powerful instruments have been used for meditation and healing for over 2500 years, and I believe anyone can learn to play them in a single day.

A close-up of handmade Tibetan singing bowls and mallets. Each bowl has a unique frequency, and you will learn how to use them for chakra balancing and deep relaxation.

Unboxing new instruments for our upcoming teacher training in Namma Bengaluru. My house is now full of beautiful tools like the vegan ocean drum and the thunder drum, each with its own unique sound and story.

A group of students exploring a variety of instruments together. You can see the joy and curiosity as they experiment with frame drums, rainsticks, and more during a jam session.

A student practices a healing layout with multiple singing bowls. You will learn how to arrange and play the bowls to create a therapeutic soundscape for deep healing.

A student learns the proper technique for making a singing bowl "sing". The key is consistent pressure and a steady hand, creating a pure, resonant tone.

About this collection

You do not need a music background to start this journey. In my sessions, I skip the academic rigidity, focusing instead on Nāda Yoga through direct experience. You will spend 30+ hours of hands-on practice, working with 47+ instruments like Gongs and the Handpan, learning how to actually feel the vibration rather than just reading about it. By the time you leave, you are not just playing; you are connecting.

Beyond Theory: Why We Go Hands-On

I view the human body as a pharmacy. My job is simply to give you the keys to unlock what is already inside you. This is why our training at Ojas Yoga Academy or our retreats at NeeRav Arts Village are not about memorizing ancient texts or studying frequency charts for weeks. It is about touch, vibration, and presence.

We cover 47+ instruments in our 3-day residential course. Whether it is the deep, cellular release from a Chau Gong or the subtle energy work with Tingsha cymbals, I ensure you handle them all. We provide a vetted list of vendors for sourcing your gear, so you do not get lost in market scams.

What You Will Learn

  • Nāda Yoga Fundamentals: Understanding how sound affects the nervous system.
  • The 47+ Instrument Library: From Tibetan Singing Bowls (we use 7 types) to Ocean Drums, Thunder Drums, and rare Handpans.
  • Marma Therapy Integration: Using sound to balance energy points in the body.
  • Practical Business Setup: I also share how to structure your own sessions, price your services, and start your journey as a professional sound healer.

The Setting

We keep groups small, typically 10-15 people. This is essential because, as the Kannada proverb goes, Moorthi chikkadadru keerthi doddadu (Even if the idol is small, its fame is great). Small groups mean we can jam together, share Satvik meals, and truly hold space for one another. You might join us in Bengaluru for a certification course or meet me during one of my travels in Morocco or Europe. The destination changes, but the mission remains the same—helping you find your rhythm.
