Meet Prajna Karkera
Hi, I'm Prajna. I'm here to show you that yoga isn't about how flexible you are or what you look like. It is about finding joy in movement, connecting with nature, and feeling at home in your own body.
This is me. As an internationally certified RYT-200 and RYT-300 Hatha yoga teacher, I bring my passion for holistic wellness to every class, workshop, and retreat I lead.

About Meet Prajna
Whether we are in my JP Nagar studio or practicing on a weekend nature trek, my approach stays the same. It is about meeting you exactly where you are today. We do not just perform postures, we explore what your body needs, from Hatha flows to aerial inversions, all while keeping things light, fun, and completely free of pressure.
Yoga is a practice of the self, by the self, and to the self. My teaching philosophy in Bangalore is rooted in making movement feel like play rather than a chore.
My Approach to Yoga
- Inclusive & Accessible: You will not find any 'perfection' here. Whether you are a total beginner, dealing with an injury, or an experienced practitioner, my classes are designed to be safe and adaptable.
- Nature-Inspired: I often bring the calmness of my coastal roots in Mangalore into our sessions. Movement is medicine, and practicing in green, open spaces is a huge part of how I help students reset.
- Small Groups: My classes are limited in size to ensure I can provide individual feedback. You get the attention you need to align properly and grow without the distraction of a crowded gym atmosphere.

My classes range from Hatha and aerial yoga to sound meditation and detox retreats.
