A collection of snapshots from my musical journey, featuring live performances, moments with my Guru, and glimpses into my teaching studio in Mumbai.

This is more than just an instrument to me; it is a lifelong spiritual practice. Here is a moment from a performance where I felt truly connected to the music and the audience.

A look inside one of my interactive tabla workshops in Nashik. I believe in creating a friendly and open environment where students can learn from me and from each other.

A precious moment with my Guruji, Pt. Yogesh Samsi ji. His guidance is the light that illuminates my path in music, and I strive to pass on his wisdom in my own teaching.

A short clip from a tabla solo performance, where I am playing a traditional Rela Kayda composition. The energy of a live concert is a unique experience that I cherish.

Here I am guiding my student, Kaustubh, through a traditional Bandish of the Punjab Gharana. In my classes, I focus on providing personal attention to ensure every student develops a strong foundation.

My wall of Gurus, the legends who have inspired my journey. I begin my day by seeking their blessings. This is the Guru-Shishya Parampara that I am humbled to be a part of.

I was honored to receive this award after a tabla solo performance in Bangalore. I am deeply grateful for the love and blessings from the audience and my fellow artists.

This is the first part of my Riyaz series, where I break down a Rela composition. My goal is to make the intricate techniques of tabla accessible to all dedicated learners.

About Featured

This cluster captures the heart of my musical life, from the quiet discipline of my daily riyaz to the electric energy of performing live. You will see glimpses of the Guru-Shishya Parampara that guides my work, along with students I am currently training in the Punjab and Delhi gharana styles. It is a space where tradition meets the reality of modern practice.

My work is driven by the desire to keep the wisdom of my Gurus, Ustad Allarakha Khan Sahab and Pt. Yogesh Samsi ji, accessible to everyone. In this collection, you will find photos and clips from my recent concerts in cities like Bangalore and Nashik, where I perform traditional solos and accompany fellow musicians. These moments are not just shows; they are opportunities to share the sound of the tabla with audiences who appreciate the nuances of laya and taal.

Alongside performances, I have included a look into how I teach. Whether you join me at my home studio in Mumbai for 1-on-1 mentorship or participate in my intensive weekend workshops, my focus remains the same: building a strong foundation. We work on the basics—hand posture, finger weight, and the nikas (tone) required for a clear, resonant sound. For students starting their journey, we dive into traditional repertoire like Kayda, Rela, and Gat from the Banaras, Punjab, Ajrada, and Farukhabad gharanas.

I believe that music is a path of continuous learning. If you are looking to understand the intricacies of tabla or want to refine your technique with guided practice routines, this is where we begin. You will find that my approach is practical, emphasizing consistent daily practice over shortcuts.
