About Contemporary Vocal Training
Why I Love What We Do
Music’s got a vibe that sticks with you, whether it’s belting out your favorite Taylor Swift track or losing yourself in an old Kannada janapada song. At World Music Conservatory, I’m all about taking that energy you feel and helping you put it on stage. We’re a group of people who want to see you go from humming in your room to owning that mic out front.
What Happens in Our Sessions
You’ll pick a path - could be Western pop and rock, could be Bollywood and light music. Want to nail those pop mashups or go for a classic Beatles vibe? Or maybe your thing is learning the latest Bollywood number or a soulful devotional tune like Keerthana or Daasara Pada. We mix it up a lot!
- Our gurus (teachers) give real, personal feedback, so you get better without wrecking your voice.
- We go beyond just singing the notes - you’ll get the basics of chords and scales too, because knowing your stuff makes you more confident up there.
- And here’s the best bit: you’ll sing with an actual band, not just a boring karaoke track. The energy is totally different.
Real Stage, Real Crowd
Everything you learn gets its moment at Kalaa Sangama, our big yearly show. Full stage, lights, sound - it’s messy, exciting, and honestly a blast. Plus, we run jam sessions and mini concerts so you’re not waiting all year to perform.
Who’s This For?
If you’ve got a song stuck in your head, you fit right in. Our folks range from 4 to 80. No one’s too old or too shy for this - just bring your vibe and let’s make some music.

My Story
We’re World Music Conservatory, started out in namma Bengaluru (our Bangalore) with one simple idea - why pick only Carnatic or just rock? Music is one big family here. Our Gurus, Vidwans and Vidushis, they teach with heart - not just notes, but real stories behind every bhajan or rock riff. Watching our students, from tiny ones holding guitars upside down to teens belting out Judas Priest at Kalaa Sangama, is pure joy. This place, it’s more than a school - it’s our sangama, our tribe.
My Work
Music Classes for All Styles - Carnatic vocal lessons, Hindustani flute classes, Western vocals, beginner guitar for kids, drums, keyboard, and more.
Learn from Real Gurus - Our teachers are true masters, dedicated to guiding students through every raga, riff, and rhythm.
Performance at Kalaa Sangama - Every student gets to perform at our annual Kalaa Sangama music festival - from shy beginners to confident pros.
Music for Every Age - Kids, teens, adults - everyone finds their own sound, whether it’s a bhajan or Indian fusion rock performance.
