From the practice room to the centre stage. See our students bring electrifying rock anthems and pop hits to life with a full live band at our annual Kalaa Sangama festival.
Our students command the stage with an electrifying mashup of hits from OneRepublic, Adele, and Shawn Mendes. This performance showcases their skills in both singing and playing instruments simultaneously.
This high energy mashup features a medley of international pop hits from artists like Shawn Mendes, Dua Lipa, and Justin Bieber. Our students worked with their guru to arrange the vocals and coordinate with the live band.
Here, our vocal students deliver a powerful and emotional rendition of Adele's "Read All About It." The performance highlights the vocal harmony and blending techniques they learn in our group sessions.
Our students showcased their versatility with back to back performances of "Living After Midnight" by Judas Priest and "Breathless" by The Corrs. This clip features our faculty member, Along Konyak, on drums, supporting the students.

About Kalaa Sangama 2024: Rock & Pop Stage
Unlike typical showcases that rely on backing tracks, our students perform with a full live band—drums, bass, and keys. This requires them to listen, lock in with other musicians, and manage stage dynamics in real-time, which is a massive step up from singing alone in a bedroom. Whether it's a subtle ballad or a high-energy rock riff, they learn to command the stage and interact with a real audience.

The Kalaa Sangama stage isn't just about showing off; it's a test of everything our students learn during their weekly sessions.
