Our Design Process: Turning Concepts into Reality

We transform architectural visions into tangible, human-centric spaces through a collaborative process that blends research, honest material use, and meticulous planning.

I believe design is not just about what you see, but what you feel. Here, I share the aesthetic philosophy that shapes our creations, focusing on timeless, earthy materials that create comfortable and human-centric spaces.

An example of how we leverage AI in our design process. This mood board was created for a client's sales office in Goa, using AI to generate imagery that captures a tranquil and luxurious atmosphere inspired by blue waters.

The sense of scale in architecture is something you can only truly appreciate on site. This video from a large seven-star property construction site shows how abstract plans on paper translate into massive, real-world structures.

A look at the Kavyam affordable housing project in Sector 108 under construction. The entire structure was designed with aluminium formwork, allowing for the efficient casting of the concrete structure, including the playful, staggered balconies.

About this collection

When you walk onto a construction site, the lines on a technical plan start to breathe. Whether we are detailing the staggered balconies of an affordable housing project in Sector 108 or selecting Gwalior Mint stone for a facade, we ensure the built result carries the exact intent of our initial hand sketches. We don't just hand over drawings; we supervise the execution to ensure the exposed brick and concrete finishes feel right to the touch.

Our design journey starts well before we touch a drafting tool. We believe that a space must serve the people inhabiting it, which is why we begin with deep empathy and context.

From Concept to Construction

  • Conceptualisation: We use a mix of traditional hand sketches and modern AI-powered mood boards to align on the visual direction. This helps us test the 'soul' of a space, like the tranquil, blue-water inspired atmosphere we proposed for a high-end sales office in Goa.
  • Materiality: We lean into honest, earthy materials. Using exposed concrete, brick, and local stones like Gwalior Mint creates textures that age gracefully and never feel overbearing.
  • Technical Precision: Once the concept is set, we move to rigorous GFC (Good for Construction) documentation. For large-scale projects like our LEED-certified office towers, this involves wind tunnel simulations and solar optimisation to reduce HVAC loads.

We act as a bridge between the abstract vision and the reality of the site. On institutional projects, this means designing circular campuses with DNA-shaped staircases that foster community. On corporate interiors, it means managing acoustic engineering and lighting architecture to ensure the environment is as functional as it is aesthetic.

We handle the complexities of structural form, such as kinetic louvers that block harsh sun, so you get a building that performs as beautifully as it looks. Throughout the process, we maintain transparency in budgeting and timelines, ensuring that your space stays true to your original vision without compromise.
