How We See Hospitality & Leisure Design
I design spaces that make you feel something. For me, it’s not just about looks – it’s about the vibe, the memories, the little stories you notice only after you’ve spent time there. My work is always for real people, not trends or algorithms.
What Guides My Work
- I start with empathy - that’s how I get soulful, functional spaces that actually matter.
- I care about culture. If a place has heritage, like a Banaras haveli, I try to keep its soul alive while making it comfy for today.
- Simple, earthy materials like brick, wood, and stone always win. They age well and just feel right.
- Nature should be part of the design - I’m big on biophilic hospitality design. Light, greenery, water… they all change how you feel in a space.
What I’ve Done
- Boutique hotel interior concepts: I’ve transformed traditional havelis and modern resorts, always keeping local crafts and stories at the center.
- Restaurant ambience planning: From iconic Dehradun legends to Mediterranean-style clubs in Gurgaon, I try to capture the food and mood in every detail.
- Multi-generational clubhouse design: Refreshed old clubs, designed flexible spaces, wellness zones, and cozy cafés so everyone finds their corner.
- Gyms and wellness clubs: Lighting shapes the energy. I zone spaces clearly and use bold colors, like Chennai’s yellow, to motivate and inspire.
Keeping It Real
Simple design is tough. Timelines and budgets can get hairy, but I find that’s when the best ideas happen. If you want a space that feels honest and alive, I’m all in.
