Industrial spaces deserve to be more than just functional sheds. We design factories and offices that breathe, using sustainable practices to prioritize the people who work in them.

About this collection

In our textile mill project, we moved away from standard box factory designs. By creating an inward-facing shop floor that wraps around a central green oasis, we generate a natural wind tunnel effect. This provides passive cooling, giving the workforce visual and thermal relief from the harsh North Indian heat without relying solely on mechanical HVAC systems.

Industrial architecture in India has long been defined by strict efficiency, often at the cost of human comfort. We aim to change that narrative. When we approach a factory, warehouse, or corporate building, we do not just look at floor plates. We analyze site orientation, prevailing wind patterns, and the specific daily needs of the workforce.

For the Sleepwell head office in Noida, this meant targeting LEED Platinum certification. We achieved this through a high-performance facade, rainwater harvesting, and systems that ensure optimal daylighting. For large production units, we look for ways to integrate the built environment with the local climate. We often incorporate resin-based bricks made from production waste and glass-sandwiched solar cells that act as both roof shade and energy generators.

This is architecture that respects the environment while serving the industrial process. Our focus is on durability and long-term utility, ensuring that every facility we design remains relevant and functional for decades. Whether you are planning a new campus or renovating an existing industrial space, we bring the same rigour to the design, ensuring a cohesive result that feels grounded and intentional.

We are Kunal and Gitanjali. We do not view industrial architecture as a purely functional task. Whether we are engineering a corporate tower or a production unit, our focus remains on creating environments that are sustainable, grounded, and genuinely pleasant to inhabit.
