Featured Illustration Projects and Creative Workshops
A look into my journey as an illustrator, from collaborative doodle walls and design talks to mentoring the next generation of creators.
This is the heart of what I do. I set up doodle walls at events like the Bookaroo Children's Literature Festival to create a space for pure, playful creativity. Watching kids and adults alike fill a blank wall with their imagination, without any fear of making mistakes, is an incredibly rewarding experience.
I believe in sharing the real story of being a professional artist. Here I am, speaking on a panel at my alma mater, Rachana Sansad, discussing the challenges and opportunities in the field of illustration, including the rise of AI and how we can adapt.
After feeling lost in digital work, I returned to my sketchbooks. This is a glimpse into years of practice, a physical record of my journey back to the basics of drawing. Each book is filled with observations, ideas, and the simple joy of a pen on paper.
I enjoy helping the next generation of artists find their footing. In this photo, I'm reviewing a student's portfolio at Atlas Skilltech University, offering feedback to help them connect their creative projects with real-world industry expectations.
This is my full illustration for the Redbull Doodle Art competition, titled "Cloy in the aftermath of a war." It's an example of my more detailed digital work, where I try to build a complex narrative within a single, dense composition.
It was an honor to be featured in Design India magazine. This article allowed me to share my thoughts on moving beyond the comfort zone and the passion that drives my profession as an illustrator.
This "Art vs Artist" collection from 2024 represents my commitment to traditional art. It was a year of rediscovery, filled with challenges and breakthroughs, but I'm proud to have created more with my hands than I have in a long time.
About Featured
This collection highlights the projects that define my work as an illustrator, from collaborative doodle walls at festivals to industry talks and student mentoring. Whether you are looking for a live sketching session, a creative workshop, or a portfolio review, these projects show how I approach art—not as a polished product, but as a conversation with the audience.
My Approach to Art and Education
I view illustration as a practice rather than a static skill. My work centers on the belief that everyone has a creative side, and my role is often to simply provide the space for that to emerge.
Creative Workshops & Doodle Walls Drawing shouldn't be intimidating. When I set up doodle walls for events like the Bookaroo Children's Literature Festival, the goal is to remove the pressure of making a masterpiece. We focus on the joy of the pen on paper. These sessions are perfect for festivals, corporate team-building, or community gatherings where you want to encourage participation and play.
Industry Talks & Design Panels I regularly speak at colleges like my alma mater, Rachana Sansad, and institutions like Atlas Skilltech University. I find these conversations essential. We discuss the realities of being a full-time illustrator in the age of AI, the challenges of freelancing, and how to stay consistent. I don't give generic advice; I share what worked for me during my time designing at SmallcaseHQ and what I continue to learn in my practice.
Mentorship & Portfolio Reviews Students often struggle with the gap between academic theory and industry reality. My portfolio reviews are straightforward. I look at 3 to 5 projects in detail to provide actionable feedback on clarity, intent, and storytelling. It is not about changing your style but about sharpening your focus so your work connects with the right audience.
If you see something here that resonates with your needs—whether it is an educational workshop or a professional talk—I am happy to discuss how we can make it happen.

I believe art is about connection, not just lines on paper. Whether I am guiding students through a portfolio review or setting up a doodle wall for an event, my goal is to strip away the pressure of perfection so we can focus on the process of creation together.
