About Shotokan Karate Classes
Why I Teach Karate
Karate’s not just punching and kicking for me - it’s how I live. I learned early on, respect is the heart of the art. My classes aren’t just about fighting skills, they’re about building confidence, discipline, and a strong mind.
Who Can Join
I welcome everyone - kids (4+), teens, adults, total newbies, and advanced students. I put extra effort into empowering girls and women. Here, no one is told to stay quiet. Instead, we train to be confident, strong, and street-smart. You’ll pick up practical self-defense moves and everyday safety tips.
Your Growth Path
We follow a clear journey - start at white belt, move up through WKF karate belt test ranks. Belt exams are big moments for you and your family. It’s a path that asks for effort, but celebrates every step forward.
What You’ll Learn
Training’s based on World Karate Federation standards. You’ll get:
- Strong basics (kihon): stances, punches, blocks, kicks
- Traditional karate kata practice: forms that build focus and skill
- Controlled sparring (kumite): real reflexes, timing, practical confidence
I prepare students for state and national contests. Many have won medals, but for me, real progress is about discipline and respect.
The Real Change
Karate makes you fit, sure, but the real work is inside. Ye roj ki practice hai ye (It’s a daily habit). You’ll build focus and self-control, and you’ll learn humility along the way.

My Story
Black belt on my waist, kuro obi, is not just a piece of cloth. It’s my journey, sweat, some tears, lot of stubbornness. Guru ka ashirwad (blessings of my teacher) brought me here, not luck. Success? They said it means happiness. But khushi toh practice hai, roz ki (happiness is a daily practice). Writing the self-defense manual for Delhi Police – that was special. But real pride? My students. Watching them become warriors, medal-winners, confident kids. Kashi Vishwanath Shambhu. Oss.
