I don’t believe in set-in-stone menus because every home and event feels different. When we chat, we’ll build a spread that works for your space—whether that’s a live appam station in your living room for a small gathering or a formal multi-course dinner with uniformed staff handling the plating and cleanup.
Whether you’re hosting an intimate birthday dinner or a community feast, my goal is to let you be a guest at your own party. I’ve handled everything from cozy home gatherings for three to larger events for two hundred, like the dinners I’ve organized with the Red Stub Club and The Conservatory.
How I Work
It starts with a conversation. We discuss what you love—maybe it’s my Amma’s chicken roast, or a full Kerala Sadhya served on banana leaves. For formal events, I bring my own team of uniformed waiters who manage everything from pass-around appetizers like beef cutlets to the final cleanup, leaving your kitchen exactly as we found it.
The Experience
- Live Stations: Nothing beats the smell of fresh appams being made right in front of your guests. It’s a staple for my live stations and perfect for keeping energy high.
- Authentic Spices: Every dish relies on spices sourced from Wayanad. My Amma still sun-dries and powders the chillies and coriander, which is the secret behind the depth of my curries.
- Service Style: I handle the logistics, the aesthetic ceramic dinnerware, the copper vessels, and even the waste management. You don’t need to worry about the heavy lifting.

I’m Tresa, and I cook the food I grew up eating—the recipes passed down by generations of Syrian Christian women. I handle the entire catering process myself, ensuring that every dish from my kitchen carries the same warmth and nostalgia I felt at my Amma’s table.
