Competitive Boxing Training: Join Our Winning Team
Competition boxing requires more than just fitness. It demands strategy, tactical discipline, and the ability to perform under pressure. Discover how I prepare my fighters for the national stage at my GTB Nagar academy.
From the training camp to the winner's circle. This is my student, Kishan, winning a silver medal at the 2nd Open National Championship in Haryana. Never give up.
Preparing my fighter for his bout at the 2nd Open National Championships in Panipat. The moments before a fight are just as important as the fight itself.
In the corner between rounds, giving tactical advice to my fighter. A coach's job is to be the calm voice of strategy in the heat of battle.
Another shot from the corner during the national championships. Clear, concise instruction is key to helping a fighter make adjustments mid-fight.
Coaching one of our female fighters in the corner during the championships. I am proud to train dedicated athletes, both men and women.
Never give up. This is the core philosophy I teach. Here, I'm in the corner with my student Sameer during a tough fight, reminding him to stay strong.
We came, we fought, we conquered. Our team celebrated winning 6 gold, 5 silver, and 1 bronze medal at the 2nd Open National Boxing Championship in Panipat.

About Proven Success: Our Competition Team
When my fighters step into the ring at the National Championships, the fight is often decided in the one-minute rest period between rounds. That is where I provide specific tactical adjustments based on the opponent's patterns. If you are serious about competitive boxing, understand that the gym is for building the foundation, but the ring is where we test if that foundation can withstand the pressure of a real bout.
Competition boxing is a different discipline. You cannot walk into an Open National Championship without a systematic approach to conditioning, tactical awareness, and mental grit. At my academy, we treat competition preparation with the seriousness of a military operation.
The Competition Pathway
My approach relies heavily on the USSR boxing method, which prioritizes footwork, angles, and defensive economy. We do not waste energy. We move with purpose. When we prepared for the 2nd Open National Boxing Championship in Panipat, our training cycle involved:
- Tactical Sparring: Simulated rounds where we drilled specific counters against southpaw and orthodox stances.
- Conditioning Peaks: High-volume interval work to ensure gas tanks remain full for the final round when opponents usually fade.
- Fight Psychology: Teaching fighters how to stay calm when the adrenaline spikes and the crowd noise rises.
Why Results Matter
The 12 medals we brought home from Panipat—6 gold, 5 silver, and 1 bronze—were not a coincidence. They were the result of months of early mornings, grueling pad work, and the absolute refusal to cut corners. Whether you are aiming for district-level bouts or national glory, the path is the same. It is a 12-week commitment to the process. If you are ready to stop training just for fitness and start training to win, come see us at our GTB Nagar facility.
