Yoga here isn't just about poses. It is a space where little ones find balance, focus, and calm amidst their curious, energetic Montessori days.

Our youngest children getting settled on their mats for a yoga session. We create a calm and inviting space for them to explore movement at their own pace.

A group of children practicing the tree pose together. Group yoga sessions like this encourage balance, concentration, and a sense of shared accomplishment.

A child demonstrates impressive flexibility in the bow pose. I encourage each child to explore what their body can do in a non-competitive and supportive environment.

The wheel pose, a more advanced posture, practiced with focus and strength. It's wonderful to see the children's confidence and physical abilities grow over time.

About this collection

We do not do rigid, competitive routines here. Instead, our yoga sessions focus on playful animal-themed poses and mindful breathing, making it a natural, pressure-free way for children to understand what their bodies can do.

At Tiny Mustards, we view movement as an essential part of learning. Following Dr. Maria Montessori’s philosophy, we know that a child’s physical awareness is deeply linked to their mental focus.

Our sessions happen in the same warm, residential setting where the children spend their day, which helps them feel secure enough to try new things. Whether it is balancing in a tree pose, stretching into a bow, or building strength with a wheel pose, the goal is always the same: to help them find a moment of stillness and self-awareness.

We often use these sessions to help children transition after a high-energy activity like messy science experiments or outdoor play. It teaches them how to self-regulate and manage their excitement. We keep our batches small, typically 15 to 20 children, which allows our teachers to give individual guidance and encouragement, ensuring every child feels capable and proud of their own progress.
