A glimpse into our daily rhythm in Banaswadi, where Montessori principles meet the simple, everyday joys of childhood.

A moment of pure joy as children proudly hold up the delicious mango milkshakes they made themselves. This is what our fireless cooking activities are all about: hands-on learning, tasting the rewards of their work, and making happy memories with friends.

Our little yogis finding their balance during a kids' yoga session. I incorporate mindful movement to help children develop focus, coordination, and a positive connection with their bodies in a playful group setting.

Watch our curious minds at work. This video captures the wonder and excitement of our hands-on science experiments, from the magic of a candle and water experiment to the fun of making rice "dance".

A child carefully practices her knife skills, slicing mangoes for our kitchen activity. Using child-safe tools, I guide them in developing practical life skills, confidence, and fine motor control in a supervised environment.

This collage captures the essence of our authentic Montessori approach. You can see children engaged in practical life skills like gardening, sensorial activities, and movement exercises that encourage holistic development.

Welcome to our "Fun in the Sun" summer camp. This colorful board, created with the children, sets the theme for a season of creative crafts, tasty fireless cooking, and exciting new discoveries.

The smiles and laughter say it all. Moments like these, where children connect and build friendships, are at the core of the community spirit I foster at Tiny Mustards.

About this collection

Montessori is often misconstrued as rigid, but here it is about rhythm. We balance quiet, concentrated work with the necessary messy fun like kitchen science and craft, ensuring your child gains confidence through doing, not just watching.

At Tiny Mustards, we define ourselves as a 'House of Children' rather than a traditional school. Situated in a converted home in OMBR Layout, our environment is designed to feel natural and safe, removing the intimidating institutional feel that many preschools have. This setting allows us to integrate practical life skills seamlessly into the day. Whether it is a child pouring their own drink, slicing fruit for a snack during a cooking session, or working on a sensorial activity on a floor mat, the goal is independence.

We adhere strictly to the Montessori method, but we interpret it through a lens that respects our local culture. You will find us celebrating festivals with pookalams and rangolis because we believe that connecting a child to their heritage is as vital as teaching them arithmetic. Our programs are intentionally small. By keeping our cohorts to 15 to 20 children, we ensure that every student gets the attention they need to follow their own curiosity.

Parents often ask if we are 'academic enough'. Our answer is that we focus on the foundation—fine motor control, focus, and social awareness—which makes the academic transition effortless later on. We are looking for families who want their children to have a proper childhood, filled with art, discovery, and community, rather than just a syllabus to complete. If you are nearby in Banaswadi or surrounding areas and want to see how we blend structure with the 'joy of learning', we invite you to come by and watch a session in progress.
