Maternity Photoshoots: Documenting Your Journey
Pregnancy is a whirlwind, and my goal is to capture the quiet, tender anticipation of this chapter. Whether you prefer a serene outdoor session or the comfort of your own home, let's create images that feel honest and true to you.
A close-up, artistic shot of a mother-to-be in a vibrant red dress, tenderly holding her baby bump. A beautiful way to capture the journey to motherhood.

About this collection
Many parents-to-be worry about feeling awkward during a shoot. My approach is to keep things relaxed and unscripted, focusing on natural light and comfortable poses rather than rigid studio setups. We work at your pace, with plenty of breaks, because I know that feeling at ease is the most important part of getting beautiful, authentic photos.
Pregnancy is a fleeting phase, and my goal is to freeze those moments into images you’ll actually want to look at years from now. I don’t believe in over-editing or heavy, complicated props. Whether we are shooting in the corners of your living room in Bangalore or against the backdrop of a quiet Kerala beach, my focus remains on the connection between you and your growing family.
My Approach
- Comfort First: We work at your speed. If you need a break or want to change your outfit, we take the time you need. You shouldn't be exhausted by the end of a shoot.
- Natural Aesthetics: I prefer soft, natural light and honest expressions over high-contrast or dramatic studio lighting.
- Location Flexibility: From the comfort of your home to parks or outdoor locations, I am happy to travel to a spot that feels like you.
When to Book
Ideally, the best time for a maternity shoot is between the 28th and 34th week of pregnancy. You’ll have a clear, beautiful bump, but you’ll still be comfortable enough to move around and enjoy the process.
If you have a specific theme in mind—or if you’re just looking for simple, elegant portraits—let’s talk. I’m happy to discuss wardrobe choices and location ideas that match your personal style.
TK Wedding Stories
I'm Krishnaprasad, but most people know me as Thrissurkaran. I started TK Wedding Stories because I wanted to move away from stiff, forced photography and toward genuine human moments. My camera is just a tool to tell your story, and I bring that same candid, emotional approach to my maternity shoots as I do to weddings.
