A Collection of Our Favorite Wedding Stories
I do not just take photos; I capture the real moments that define your wedding day. Here is a selection of stories I have had the honor to tell, from intimate ceremonies to grand celebrations across India.
A quiet, intimate kiss shared between a couple during their pre-wedding shoot in the misty hills of Vagamon. This moody, cinematic style is perfect for capturing the deep connection between two people.
This film captures the beautiful, traditional moments of a Kerala Hindu wedding at Guruvayoor temple. From the bride's entrance to the sacred rituals, I focus on creating a cinematic story of your day.
The pure, uninhibited laughter of a South Indian bride on her wedding day. I live for these candid moments that show the true joy and excitement behind the ceremonies.
A fairytale moment for a Punjabi couple, framed by a stunning floral arch in a lush Bangalore garden. This shot showcases my approach to creating grand, yet intimate, wedding portraits.
The vibrant energy and pure fun of a Haldi ceremony. I love capturing the chaos and laughter as family and friends celebrate together, creating memories full of color and joy.
An elegant portrait of a Muslim bride on her Nikah day. I focus on capturing the grace, beauty, and intricate details of bridal attire across all cultures.
A serene portrait of a Christian bride, holding her bouquet just moments before the ceremony. This image reflects the quiet anticipation and elegance of a church wedding.
About this collection
When you look through these images, you will not see stiff, posed portraits. You will see the authentic chaos of a Haldi, the quiet anticipation of a bride, and the raw energy of a celebration. My team and I focus on anticipating these moments rather than directing them, ensuring your photos reflect how the day actually felt, not just how it looked.
Photography for me is about the details that often get lost in the rush of a wedding day. Whether I am shooting a traditional temple ceremony in Guruvayoor or a modern destination wedding in Bangalore, my approach remains the same: I stay in the background to catch the unscripted interactions.
I rely on high-resolution Sony full-frame mirrorless cameras to ensure that even the darkest venue lighting is captured with clarity and emotion. I do not believe in heavy filters or over-editing. Instead, I focus on true-to-life skin tones and natural, cinematic colors that stand the test of time.
My work spans across various traditions, from the structured rituals of Hindu and Muslim ceremonies to the classic elegance of Christian weddings. I understand that each community has its own specific customs, and I make it a point to know the 'when' and 'where' of every ritual before I step onto the venue. This preparation allows me to be in the right spot at the right time without needing to interrupt the flow of the ceremony.
Beyond just the main events, I place a high value on the quiet moments—the groom adjusting his turban, the parents watching from the sidelines, or the candid laughter shared between friends. These are the stories that I believe make your wedding gallery personal. If you have a specific vision for your day, let's talk about it. My goal is to ensure you look back at your album and feel the same rush of emotion you felt on your wedding day.
TK Wedding Stories
I am Krishnaprasad, though most people know me as 'Thrissurkaran'. I started TK Wedding Stories to move away from the staged, rigid photography of the past and towards documenting real love. Whether it is a quiet temple wedding in Kerala or a high-energy Punjabi sangeet in Bangalore, my only goal is to make sure you remember how the day felt, not just how it looked.
