Natural Maternity & Family Portraits
I don’t just take photos; I capture the raw, honest joy of your journey. Whether we are in the studio or out in nature, I focus on the quiet connections that define this season of your life.
A classic studio maternity portrait. The simple pink background and the "Mom To Be" sash keep the focus on the expectant mother's happy expression.
A quiet and tender moment from a maternity shoot. The mother-to-be looking down at her belly, captured with soft, diffused lighting.
An outdoor maternity portrait in a beautiful park. The mother-to-be is cradling her belly, surrounded by the soft greens of nature.
A playful and happy outdoor maternity shot. This image captures the joy and excitement of the mother-to-be.
A romantic maternity couple shoot. The father-to-be playing the guitar for his partner creates a sweet and personal story.
An intimate moment between the couple during their maternity shoot. The focus is on their connection and the shared anticipation.
About this collection
My approach to your maternity shoot is rooted in my engineering background—precision with lighting and composition—but it stays guided by emotion. I avoid heavy, artificial poses. We spend our time getting you comfortable in front of the lens, letting the connection between you and your partner drive the frame, not a posing guide.
Photography is, for me, about capturing that specific 'jeeva' or soul in a moment. When we shoot, I rely on my technical knowledge to manage lighting, but I leave the script at the door.
My Approach to Your Shoot
- In-Studio: I use 3-point lighting setups to create clean, high-end portraits. If you want a moody look with colored gels or a crisp, classic aesthetic on solid backgrounds, we can get that done.
- Outdoors: I prefer natural light. Whether it’s a quiet park in Bengaluru or a lake setting, I use the golden hour to get that soft glow. We won't be rushing.
- Posing: I provide guidance, but I don't force it. If you're laughing, if you're looking down at your bump, or if your partner is just holding your hand—those are the images that matter.
Planning Your Session
I recommend booking your shoot between the 28th and 32nd week of pregnancy. This is when you are typically most comfortable, and the bump is beautifully defined. We can discuss your wardrobe beforehand; I always suggest keeping it simple so the focus stays on the emotion.
If you have a specific location in mind, let me know. I travel across Bengaluru and have my go-to spots that work well with the light. I am happy to guide you on outfit choices that pair well with the environment, ensuring the final set of images feels cohesive and timeless.
