Punjabi weddings are a spectacular fusion of high energy and deep tradition. I focus on capturing the raw emotion of the rituals and the joy of the celebrations, keeping every moment authentic.

About this collection

Capturing an Anand Karaj requires respect for the space and the pacing. I use silent, non-intrusive camera gear during the ceremony to ensure I get the raw, spiritual emotion without disrupting the sanctity, while switching to more dynamic lighting setups for the high-energy, chaotic fun of the pre-wedding celebrations.

Punjabi weddings in India are a whirlwind, and my job is to make sure you have the visual story to remember it by. Whether you are hosting a traditional Anand Karaj in a Gurudwara or a massive, high-volume Sangeet, I approach the coverage with a balance of documentary candid photography and directed portraiture.

My Approach to Punjabi Weddings

I don't just stand back and snap photos. I get involved in the rituals, understanding the flow of the Haldi, the energy of the Varmala, and the emotion of the Vidaai. Because I use Sony full-frame mirrorless cameras with fast prime lenses, I can work in low-light indoor environments like temples or banquet halls without needing harsh, intrusive lighting that ruins the vibe.

What We Cover

  • Pre-Wedding & Sangeet: This is where the energy is at its highest. I focus on movement, laughter, and the details of your decor and attire.
  • The Ceremony: I prioritize the sacred moments. I understand the importance of rituals in Sikh and Punjabi weddings and make sure I'm in the right place to capture them without getting in the way.
  • Portraits: We will find time for couple portraits. I usually look for natural light or clean, structural backgrounds to ensure the focus stays entirely on you and your partner.

Packages & Process

For these events, I typically suggest my 'Premium 2 Day Wedding Saga' package. This ensures my team of 6 has enough coverage to have one photographer dedicated to the candid moments while another focuses on the traditional shots, ensuring we don't miss the small interactions between family members. We can also coordinate on the schedule, so we know exactly when to start the prep shots and when the guests arrive.

I am Krishnaprasad, and I love the energy of a Punjabi wedding. Whether it is the quiet spirituality of the Gurudwara or the high-volume madness of the dance floor, my goal is to keep the photography real and honest.
